I grew up in the Cleveland suburbs, earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration and Elementary Education from Kent State University and The University of Akron, and earned my law degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 2013. I have been a solo practitioner since December 2013.
Prior to law school, I gained extensive business experience working in the printing and graphics industry, and also spent a number of years teaching in public and private schools.
During law school I interned at the Summit County Juvenile Court and the Summit County Probate Court and clerked for various Akron attorneys in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, and Child Custody. I am currently a member in good standing of the Ohio Supreme Court and a member of the Akron Bar Association.
My work includes consulting with clients of all ages, economic statuses, and walks of life customizing estate plans to ensure the best disitribution of their estates after death. I also help grieving families navigate the process of probate and distribution when they have experienced the loss of a loved one. Finally, I serve as a Guardian ad Litem and represent parents and children in Abuse/Neglect/Dependency cases and Legal Custody cases.
I currently make my home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where I have lived since 1986. I enjoy reading, movies, swimming, walking outdoors, playing with my two beautiful granddaughters, and playing with my eight - count them, 8!! furbabies.
